Jim James Performs ‘Uniform Distortion’ Singles On Jimmy Kimmel Live [Watch]

first_imgMy Morning Jacket is currently taking a break in 2018, but frontman Jim James is clearly staying busy with his own agenda. Last month, Jim James released his third solo album, Uniform Distortion, via ATO Records. The all-original record–which got its name “because [Jim James] feels like there is this blanket distortion on society/media and the way we gather our ‘news’ and important information”–was celebrated last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Jim James and his band performed “Throwback” for the live television performance, and then a rendition of “No Secretes” for an online exclusive. Only a handful of audiences have seen these new songs performed live since the new album’s release, so fans can check out James’ new rock vibe in the videos below:“Throwback”“No Secrets”Next up, James will be embarking on a unique, career-spanning solo acoustic concert tour, beginning November 2 at Los Angeles, CA’s Cathedral Sanctuary.
