first_img Tags: Snow College cheerleaders February 28, 2020 /Local News, Sports News – Local Snow College Cheerleader Tryouts Slated For April 25 FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailEPHRAIM, Utah-Tryouts for the Snow Dance Cheerleading & Stunt Team will be held on April 25, 2020. There will be a mandatory clinic held on April 24, 2020 starting at 6 p.m. at the Horne Activity Center Main GymTryouts will be from 9 a.m. until 12:noon in the Horne Activity Center Main Gym on the 25th. All material will be taught during the clinic the evening before. Please bring a :30 second sideline dance, a cheer, jump sequence and a tumbling pass along with a 3 X 5 headshot. Participants will also need a valid medical insurance card, $20.00 audition fee (in cash) and a completed application.1. All participants must have completed a tryout application (click here).2. All incoming students must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA.3. All participants must fill out the informed consent form in order to participate. (click here)4. Participants must bring a copy (front and back) of their medical insurance card.5. Participants will be taught chants, a cheer, and a dance during the clinic.6. Participants will be required to perform what they learned during tryouts in small groups.7. Assisted group stunts will be performed during tryouts.8. Skills include: jump sequence, spiriting, tumbling pass, 30-second sideline dance and cheer.9. The judges will conduct individual interviews with each participant.10. The judges will be looking for attitude, collegiate appearance, personality and confidence.11. Tryouts are closed to the public.12.
