first_imgWest Ham chairman David Gold says the club are still looking to bring in another striker.Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia remain injured and the Hammers are keen to improve a strike force which right now includes Diafra Sakho, Mauro Zarate and Mobido Maiga.And when asked if he’d like another option up top, Gold explained that at the start of the season, West Ham were ‘desperate’ for a striker and the situation has not changed.“It’s been made worse by Valencia getting injured, so yes there’s no doubt that before the window closes, we’d like to add another striker.“But by the same token we could have Andy Carroll back sooner rather than later, which would be a fantastic bonus.”last_img
