first_imgDonegal company E+I Engineering are planning on expanding their workforce to 1,000 staff, which is set to create over 200 jobs over the next several years.The company, which is owned by Phillip O’Doherty, is set to expand their Burnfoot based factory, which is set to be completed in October.An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar will visit the site on September 11 to officially make the announcement. E+I Engineering site in Burnfoot, Co Donegal.The 40,000 square foot extension means the company will be able to recruit extra staff in production, design and administration.Mr O’Doherty praised the commitment and dedication of the Donegal workforce -praising the county for being “first class” and “highly educated”.In a statement, Mr O’Doherty said: “We have a fabulous workforce in Donegal.
