Founded by Ron McCulloch and Tim Chatfield in 2016, Jitjatjo has now raised a total of $17.9M in reported equity funding. FLEXX, a newly formed entity from Trace VFX cofounders Jonathan Mason and Varun Parange, has raised $685K in financing in the form of a SAFE note according to a recent SEC filing. The funding is co-led by Franklin Templeton Investments and Bain Capital Ventures with additional participation from funds and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. and Hamilton Lane Advisors, on behalf of New York State Common Retirement Fund. That’s right – anyone with NYS pension is now an indirect investor in Rent the Runway. Founded in 2009 by Jennifer Fleiss and Jennifer Hyman, Rent the Runway has now raised a total of $341.2M in reported equity funding with an additional $200M in debt financing from Temasek. Rent the Runway $125M Fetcher $5.4M – Seed Recruitment platform Fetcher has raised $5.4M in Seed funding from investors that include Accomplice, Slow Ventures, Picus, Revel Partners, Paul English, and James Joaquin.
